100,000 Posts
Hey, gang. capnnerefir here to tell you that we’ve reached a new milestone in AFF’s life recently. As you probably guessed from the title, we’ve now got upwards of 100,000 posts on the forum.
AFF has grown immensely very, very quickly. It was almost exactly two years ago this day that we were celebrating over 10,000 – in two years, we’ve grown ten times in size. More than that, even. And we can expect to see more and more growth. With the impending re-release of the Animorphs books, we’re sure to see legions of new fans as well as old ones. And thanks to all of you, they’ll know that AFF is the best place to go to feed their new-found addiction.
I still remember when I first came here two years ago, looking for eBooks like so many others. Honestly, I just planned on downloading my books and disappearing into the night, but after spending some time here with all of you, I just had to keep coming back. AFF is more than a place to remember an old book series. It’s its own community, with all kinds of people. Some of the most unique and interesting people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting are on this forum, and I know we’re going to see more and more in the future.
Thanks, everyone, for taking a little forum tucked away in a corner of the Internet and helping us turn it into the greatest place for Animorphs fans out there.
Thanks to Rexhunter99 for his donation
James (Rexhunter99) has donated and helped us in keeping AFF up and running. Thank you Rex!
For those of you don’t know, donations are almost the only source of funds to keep AFF running. Proceeds from advertisements only amount to a few cents per month.
Thanks to Elfangor for his donation
Thanks to Ben/Elfangor for his generous donation. He now enjoys the perks donators receive.
Thank you again, Ben on behalf the staff and all those who use AFF.
Animorphs Re-release and 2.0

If you read the Hirac Delest blog, you may already know about the re-release of Animorphs and talks about an extended series to be published by Scholastic. According to the anonymous source from Scholastic, the existing books (#1 to #54 and the bonus books) are to be re-released as Animorphs Classic, around spring 2012 late 2010-2011 (official date still TBA). It has been revealed that the books will have new covers, and reportedly, Scholastic will decide the fate of Animorphs 2.0 depending upon the sales and fan reception of Animorphs Classic.
In any case, this is a great news for Animorphs fans around the world who couldn’t get their hands on the Animorphs books because Scholastic stopped publishing them in parts of the world.
Update : (Dec 14th) The ‘Animorphs Classic’ re-release has been confirmed!
Another brand new profile button
By popular demand, another profile button (read : FanFiction.net) has been added to the array of existing profile buttons.
On another note, I apoologise for being inactive lately. I had been going through a lot for a last few days; and hopefully it’ll be all right now.

If the link isn’t showing up as a link just copy and paste it. Also if that isn’t working for you you can just search ‘Animorphs’ or ‘Animorphs Fan Forum’ and it should bring up AFF on Facebook.

How much we've grown
Hiya guys it’s Elfangor here. Ellimist has allowed me to post here so I thought I would.
Isn’t it amazing how much we’ve grown as a site and as a community 1 year 5 months ago Ellimist made this site. On the first day there was one member, by day two 4. 2 months later there where 25 members. Now 1 and a half years later we have 1229 members (Not mentioning the one who have left). Along with these 1229 members are 55711 posts. On top of that if you search Google for “Animorphs Forum,” AFF is at the top of the list which means we are the top Animorphs Forum site.
Isn’t this forum just great?

Thanks to Micheal(Mican) and Shannon(angrypengu1n)
for donating to us and providing with some well-needed funds to keep AFF alive. Their generosity is greatly appreciated.
They will now enjoy the facilities provided to the donators.
Quick reply added
The quickly reply box has been added to the bottom of each thread.
This will allow the users to post efficiently and quickly.
However, for performance purposes, features like post icons, attachment uploads and post options have been deliberately excluded from quick reply. To use them, one will have to use the ‘Reply’ button.
